About Us
SWA Architecture PLLC, is a award winning architecture and planning firm founded by Architect, Steve Wygoda. The firm is a fully integrated facility specializing in commercial & mixed-use architectural design, expediting, zoning, planning, sidewalk café design and code analysis. The firm works nationally and has completed tens of thousands of projects with a knowledgeable and creative team that works with both private and public clientele.
Time is sensitive and we are dedicated to all aspects of the project & timeline. The architects, designers, planners & expediters have decades of experience in building code, zoning & accessibility streaming the process.

Pioneering the NYC Sidewalk Cafe
SWA sought to add a new, evolutionary layer to the Manhattan outdoor experience and worked with the city to create a commission to establish, the first in history, The Small Sidewalk Cafe Rule.
SWA continues to grow and reshape the urban landscape. Since then the firm and clientele has grown tremendously designing and planning iconic venues to award winning developments .

Owner and Principle, Steve Wygoda has been a licensed architect for over 50 years and continues to be a leader in his field. He has worked closely with New York community boards, committees, and commissions to evolve the metropolitan landscape and is deeply passionate about using architecture to enhance community.
